The 2014 Isle of Wight Film Festival will take place on the 12-16th August. The festival this year has added an extra day to its programme and once again will be part of the Ventnor Fringe Festival in the seaside town of Ventnor. The festival will continue with its International Short Film competition including prizes for the  Best Human Rights, Best Environmental, Best Drama and Best Isle of Wight short. 2014 also sees extra screenings of International feature films with an emphasis on Youth and the Arts and the programme has been extended to allow more feature film screenings.

A series of educational events at the festival will take place for those wanting to get into the film industry or simply have an interest in film making and film making techniques.
